Out of the book campaign on Headstart :

Dede is a nickname I was given at a young age at home. It is also a pseudonym and a character I invented, a way for me to create in the public space. The image of the band-aid is my most known symbol, and it has been accompanying me for nearly a decade.
Throughout the years I have photographed copiously out of love for what I do and a strong urge to document every step of the process.
Finally I have decided to publish a book independently, for the first time in my life.

With a little help from you, it will be a extensive book that will reveal materials from behind the scenes of my work up to this day -  it will reveal things which cannot be seen when encountering the work on the street.
Some of the photographs document my works alongside the city’s changing landscape. Famous abandoned buildings, secret corners, and places rarely seen from the inside will be on display alongside the works.
In addition, the book will include photographs from my private studio, revealing secrets, inspirations, processes, and research I’ve conducted.
The book includes short texts that I collected from diaries, and some texts written especially for the book; thoughts and ideas that lead and accompany the documented processes.

Aside from these texts I have the honor to host two wonderful writers who contributed to this book:

Benno Kalev

Ben Baruch Blich

I have a deep appreciation for both of them, and I’m extremely happy for their contribution to the book.

Around the city, the art I create is open to everyone and the audience is an inherent element of the final work. In the same vein, I would like the audience to become partners in the creation of this book.
Since my works fade and disappear from the world, the photographs are all that remain.
I would like to create a book that is in itself a work of art, full of surprises you will uncover on your own. Here on Headstart you can have it for a special price.

This book is the large artistic challenge I stand before today, and I will be deeply grateful for anyone who would like to be a partner along the way, making it a reality <3
